After a lifetime career in the Army, Andrew Farquhar has become a management consultant in London and abroad, but with his home very much in Staffordshire. Throughout his military service he has had very close links with the Army Cadet Force, holding a variety of posts that directly affected the policy and the day to day running of the ACF. He has personal knowledge of this excellent youth movement as he joined the cadets in 1966! Andrew is keen to continue his support to the Cadets and he sees his role as a trustee of the Friends as an excellent way to do this by offering his experience both as a soldier and a consultant to the Board of Trustees. He hopes to be able to raise additional funds for the Trust by seeking sponsorship for the occasional marathon that he runs. To read more about General Farquhar's marathons, see our News page.
