Trustee Presentation to New Instructors

Posted on 5th October, 2021

On 2nd October 2021, two of our trustees, Mr Malcolm Sperring-Toy and Mr Graham Morley, had the pleasure of meeting new ACF instructors at the training centre in Staffordshire. The Trustees delivered a short presentation on the history and purpose of the Friends Trust and the Bursary that the Trustees have established to support our Cadets who need financial assistance in order to further their education or get a job etc.

Following the presentation, the Trustees responded to the very sensible questions raised by the instructors. All present agreed on the importance of making sure that those in direct contact with our Cadets on a regular basis are best placed to pass on information to the Cadets on what is available to them via the Bursary. The Officers and Instructors recognised the significant contribution that those who donate to our Charity, the Friends of the Staffordshire and West Midlands (North Sector) Army Cadet Force, has on our local ACF.

Before they left, the Trustees thanked the volunteer Officers and Instructors for the valuable work that they do and for the positive impact they have on the lives of our local Cadets.
