The eagle-eyed may have noticed that the Friends Trust has changed the design of its shield slightly. This has been done in response to changes to the Army Cadet Force emblem that has been changed following the coronation of King Charles III.

The crown on the new emblem is the King’s Crown which is slightly different than the previous version which was the late Queen’s Crown. The current crown will stay in place until the country next has a queen when it is likely, if tradition is followed at that time, that the crown will change back to that of the then Queen.
